Learning A LOT

Wow, this has been an incredible time of growth AND FUN! I'm going to miss California, that's for sure. But, HEY, onto the next challenge the Lord has for me. SENIOR YEAR!!! AHHHH!!!! I can't believe it. Hopefully, everything works out for me to be up there. I miss everybody a bunch. Plus, Heather will be up there! I leave this upcoming Monday (the 14th) to come home, so if you think about it, pray for safe travelling and short lines at the airport! Thanks stupid London terrorists for making it difficult to travel everywhere. Better safe than sorry though!!! Be passionate about your faith in Christ today! Let it affect the way you live, for God's Glory!

Summer

I stinkin love California!!! San Jose has been great, the youth group, the families of the church, the sunshine, the beach (Santa Cruz). I've loved it all! I hope you are all incredibly jealous 9cuz you should be!). But i still miss heather like CRAZY! So that's one bad thing...Anywho, soon I will be back in the frigid tundra of Wisconsin if all goes well!

Shout to the Westhttp://aaron-camp.blogspot.com/

I won't probably be as active on xanga as much as I used to. Obviously, even in the past few months I haven't added anything new. This summer, I anticipate being SWAMPED as I am doing an internship in the San Jose, CA area. I'm very excited about this internship, because at some point I would love to start a church planting ministry in the West and I see this internship as not only as a huge ministry opportunity to First Baptist Community Church, but also, as a time for researching the West and gathering more data for future ministry! Anyway, most of my blogging time will most likely be devoted to "Shout to the West". It is a blog that some of my bestfriends and I have set up for the soul purpose of seeing where the Lord is leading in possibly starting a church plant in the Western United States. At this point we have not made it open for anyone to comment becuase it is primarily for us, but if you have comments to add feel free to add them to my personal blog:  http://aaron-camp.blogspot.com.

Psalm 103

As I mentioned last week, I've been working on Psalm 103 for a sermon. It's unreal how David (without a full understanding of N.T. Salvation) pictures our experience as believers. The introduction to the psalm begins with a personal call to praise. But David doesn't just say "praise the Lord". This passage is so often addressed as  a call to worship, but for the most part people neglect the reason that David gives for the praise. The praise is rooted in God's name (attributes), but the focus is on his "benefits". David urges us to remember what God has done in our lives. He forgave our trespasses, He heals our disease, and He redeems your life from destruction. What an awesome picture of God saving us!!! Man, there's so much more I could say, but I'll leave you with that little nugget of Joy. I hope it's an encouragement to someone.
